Doesnt come with a remote. I like the fireplace, but wish it heated a little better. Feels great when youre in front of it but takes a long time to feel it from a couple feet away. The whole assembly looks amazing. Color looks good. Holds my 50 inch, 2 game systems, and my sound system well. Took about 40 minutes to assemble. Directions were easy to follow. Comes packaged in styrofoam, so beware of that getting everywhere when you unpack it.
I just received this product and am very impressed. Being that it was only 200$ I wasnt surprised to see partial board and a ton of small pieces to assemble. It surprisingly easy with the simple instructions. One thing I love about this stand that my last stand couldnt do was hide the majority of the wire nest I have for my PlayStation, turntable, tv, clock, speaker system, and fireplace, etc. its a lot to deal with and at one point I payed for a tv box so thats just even more wires. Its a pretty piece, you can go buy a 600$ one and yes itll be better material and probably less assembly but still for the price I payed, Im satisfied.
Truth is this was a cheaply made unit. DO NOT tighten up any screws when assembling this unit. Just screw them flush to the surface otherwise they will strip in the cheap particual board and you will not be able to attach the pieces together and they stay attached. Also had to super glue the lamination on. China pretty much thru this crap in a box an shipped to the USA... Thanks for the Love China. After all that I did get my unit put together with no issues other than me gluing the lamination on because sub standard manufacturing felted they did not need to. I will pay for good quality merchandise. If I could I would ship this dung back to China but that would cost me more cash and I did get it put together and it looks good, just that I KNOW it crap. A glorified space heater
