I heat my house with a wood stove but our bedroom is far from the fireplace, so we bought this to keep our room warm without heating us out. This is a perfect unit to use for a secondary heat source, I would not rely on it has a primary heating source. Looks nice and took a little over an hour to assemble. There a couple things that could be added to it to make it a five star product: a remote control, temper control thermostat and a timer, but for the price I can't really complain.

Despite other reviews saying this was super hard to put together, I fount it really simple. Yes, there are a lot of parts, but thats what you get for buying something that doesnt come premade. I do see how user error could lead to some parts not lining up properly or fitting nicely together, but follow the instructions, take care with little pieces, and it should come together nicely. Overall, it looks amazing for the price. Yes, it is made of particle board that easily flakes, but again, take care, and it will come together nicely.
The heater has been a blessing. I miss having a fireplace to sit in front of, so this is the closest I could get without spending a butt ton of money and time and effort trying to get a permit for a fireplace, professional installation, etc. I now spend a good deal of my time sitting in front of my fireplace.
This fireplace is very beautiful and relaxing. It is solid and well built. Yes it is MDF wood but when put together correct. You would not know. It really makes the living room come together.
3 Things.
1. Lay out all wood flat and read directions.
2. Lay out all screws and read directions.
3. When shelves and wood have screws you will want another person to help you put it together. Take your time at least 1 to 2 hours.
I was looking for something high for my tv that my child couldnt reach. This is just perfect! The instructions are like what the F am I supposed to do when u 1st look at it,but when u actual sit down n look at the instructions n open the big screw bag its all self explanatory each little screw bag has numbers on it so its easy to figure out. And match up with instructions. It took me 5hours to complete n I think only bcuz I had a friend helping me. Everything was measured right as far the manufacturer no issues there. I used my power drill to screw all screws in at the lowest speed I think a hand held screwdriver Youll be there forever. It came on time its really heavy 110lbs to be exact the ups driver needed help bringing it up my 5flight walkup. Looks really good and throws a good amount of heat out. Paired great with rug also got on and it heats up

Description is wrong, it does require assembly. Two pieces came scratched. I was able to mask the scratches with a Walnut stain pen. I'm sure they would have sent replacement parts, but I needed a TV stand immediately. It is an beautiful piece. I love it.

Easy Setup, Looks Amazing, Great Heat

GreT product. Easy to assemble, looks elegant. Fireplace is warm. I use it as an entertainment center and it works wonderfully!
