Our daughter loves this loft bed. It took about 2 1/2 hours to put together and youll need two people towards the end but it looked so nice when we were done. I was very happy with how sturdy it feels and the look of it. The desk is big and will be more than enough room for our 11 year old. Definitely pleased with our purchase!
Update:
Almost 1 year with this bed and I still love it. I ended up removing the side rail and ladder because the kid-size ladder cutout got annoying. Easy fix with a stepstool! The bed has held up very well, even with multiple adults sleeping in it some nights. I am moving this year and this bed is one of the few things Ill be taking with me to my new home. I added a new photo to show the bed as I have it set up now.
I am loving this bed. Im 21, living in a crowded city in a tiny apartment with a roommate. I needed a bed frame that would allow me to use my room as more than just a sleeping quarters, as I have pets, a plant obsession, Im a student, and I enjoy having friends over. I wanted one of these beds forever but I could not find one in a full size - until this came along. I was able to assemble it all by myself (would definitely recommend a helping hand though as I was in pain for 3 days after) working for about 6 hours one day and 4 hours the next. I recommend an electric screwdriver with both a philips and an allen wrench attachment. I have a 12 inch mattress and its fine because Im an adult, but children should have a thinner mattress so the guard rails will be functional. I have had a blast decorating with this bed. I have some creative storage underneath as well as some floor cushions, a beanbag chair, and my dogs bed. This bed frame is incredibly sturdy, no wobbling or squeaking even when my partner sleeps over (were about 400lb combined)! My last piece of advice is to use a twin size comforter if you dont want any overhang. Long story short, get this bed!
The frame came packaged really well! All the pieces were clearly marked with stickers, the hardware was in a labled box, and everything matched the instruction manual perfectly. The diagrams and instructions were well written and easy to follow. You could probably put the frame together with the allen wrench provided, but we used our own because the bolts were very tight when screwed into the wood (which is one of the reasons the frame is so sturdy!). You will also need a Phillips head screwdriver, and a rubber mallet might be helpful for some of the dowels.
We put it together with 2 adults in a little over an hour. I think 1 adult could assemble it if they were handy. Our biggest problem was keeping it from sliding around on the carpet when we were first pushing pieces together. The glossy finish on the white frame is very slick!
We were pleasantly surprised how sturdy it feels, and how nice it looks! The whole thing is made from wood, not MDF or hollow core boards. The glossy white finish should be easy to wipe down for cleaning.
We think our 7yo will be able to use it for many years.
Love love love this bed!! It says for 6 and up but I got it for my 5 year old. She is just starting school and really wanted a desk, bunk bed, and space of her own. This was all in one! It definitely takes 2 to assemble, but believe it or not I was able to put it together by myself being 35 weeks pregnant! It took me almost 3 hours though. It came with all the parts and super easy instructions. My daughter could not be more happy!! So glad I didnt pay an arm and a leg for something in a fancy furniture store.
We bought for my daughter. Great desk space and really opens up the room. The bed is quite high and she is a little closer to our ceiling than is ideal. Took my husband and I a few hours to put together. Overall, very happy.
Very well made, sturdy bed. I HATE putting things together because the instructors are always confusing but this was not a problem at all to assemble. Very happy with this bed
I wasnt sure what to expect considering the low cost of this bed, but it far exceeded my expectations. The bed came packaged very well. I was impressed with how protected the pieces of wood were. Everything was in perfect shape, all of the pieces were there and ready to be assembled. My 11 year old daughter and her dad assembled this bed in about an hour and a half. Very easy for the two of them to do together. The bed is very solid and she loves it! There is plenty of space underneath to create a lounging space with a bean bag chair or other type of floor seating. I would recommend this bed. It is a great value for the price, especially considering its solid wood.
This is a really beautiful, well made bed especially for the price. Was purchased to give my son more floor space in his small bedroom and it is perfect! Only issue is that you will definitely need at least 3 people to assemble (instructions suggest 2, but 3 is necessary imo)

Perfect for the price
Bed came well packed and protected. Its easy to assemble, did it myself with my teenage daughter in a few hours. Its as in pictures.
