This was the perfect height for my child. Was able to put book shelves below amd create a reading nook/ lounge area underneath. I like how sturdy it is when put together. Would recommend.
It was pretty difficult to assemble, but once we got it together and tightened everything it is pretty sturdy. When climbing up and down the ladder I would feel the bed kind of shake, so I put L brackets against the wall and I no longer have any issues of with the sturdiness. This bed in my opinion is worth the money. I bought this for myself because I moved into a small bedroom and needed more space, this allowed me to be able to have my desk under my bed. Which gave my room a lot more space overall.
The bed is good quality and solid. It has very sturdy hardware to assemble. Large bolts where it counts. I assumed I would secure to the wall into studs as soon as we put together but was satisfied and pleased how sturdy it is on its own. My son is like 60 pounds and will def in the future secure to the wall but no need right now. We were lucky that the way the instructions are presented was the exact configuration on which end and side the ladder was. It might be tricky to make an adjustment to fit your room but Im assuming can be done with some effort. Very good product so far and cant see any reason why it shouldnt last until he outgrows it. It is worth a mention that the paint is pretty stinky in his room as it off gases. We keep his door open at night and have cracked window and closed the door during the day. One suggestion as soon as it arrives open box and spread out pieces and let sit a few days in garage to air out.
I bought it for my sister since she loves bunk beds and it gives her a study area underneath. The obmy downside is that is extremely wobbly. My sister moves a lot when she sleeps and even turning from your side to your back is a little nerve-racking. If it wasnt for that this would be fantastic.
Bought 2 for our kids bedroom (ages 11 and 14). Pkgd well but upon opening, strong paint smell permeated. For everyones health, you need to let air out in a garage or outdoors if good weather before assembling or, if after assembling, wait to sleep in them until it airs out. Took about 5-6 days for smell to completely dissipate. Easy to put together but need a 2nd person to hold up one end when attaching the other end. Pretty sturdy but it does wobble a bit when climbing and getting in. As long as you dont exceed weight limit (which I thought would be more but was only 160lbs!), we are not concerned with the wobble. Its pretty tall so it was expected. Our kids fit their desks underneath along with some storage cubes. Good amt of space. I am 5ft and need to duck my head when going underneath. After about a month, we started to see little cracks in the pinewood going against the grain so well see how long it holds up over time. But for now, it seems purely cosmetic; its not affecting the structures integrity. We figure once the weight limit has been exceeded, well chop the legs, take away the guardrails and our kids can have nice platform beds. The lofts are nice looking and our kids love them. We have enough ceiling clearance as we have cathedral walls. Value for $ is good considering the wobble and pressure cracks. We have thick mattresses (9) but there is still a safe 5 of clearance b/t the top of the mattress to the top of the guardrail. We did have to put a material covering the guardrail for our daughter as she tends to sleep with foot/leg dangling between them (not safe). Ill be happy if we get a few yrs out of these beds as lofts before our kids outgrow the weight limit. If you want a completely stable bed w/no movement, spend more on an oak or other hardwood bed. If your kids dont mind a little wobble and dont mind being up pretty high (like a treehouse), then go for these beds. Just let them air out first!
I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews where people had quality issues or complained of difficult assembly. It does initially appear to be a large task when you lay all the parts out, but it goes together relatively easily, ensuring the four corner posts are oriented properly is about the most difficult part. I was able to assemble this by myself but it was a but difficult to get the side rails on without help, two people for that part will be necessary for the average person. I bought this for a child but tested it first, I weigh 240 pounds and felt comfortable and didnt have any concerns when I laid on it to test the sturdiness.

Difficult to build. Should come with wall L Brackets

Not sturdy enough, even for a 40 lb girl.
Very wobbly. Needs more support beams.
Love!
My daughter absolutely loves her new bed, easy to assemble and underneath we made her a little fort!
It works great for the money
I assembled it with my wife of 32 years and I think we will make it to 33
Very satisfied with the bed and son loves it.

Great loft bed value but air it out first!

Quality of wood and sturdiness is great!
2nd bed bought from which is cheaper than furniture stores. Dropped of at ur door step and easy to assemble.
Seems to be good quality after initial assembly
