We were looking for a bigger bed for our five year old daughter, and I stumbled across this one. We wanted something she could use now and in the near future, and thought the shorter loft option was pretty cool (and safer!). We had her pick from a few and she chose this one immediately.
Assembly wasnt terrible, and everything feels super sturdy. The top of the bed comes up to just under my armpit, and the top of her mattress comes up to my hip. I am 59, 155lbs, and have slept comfortably in the bed with her. Weve had it for about a month now and have no complaints. She uses the area underneath to read and play, and thoroughly enjoys her new big girl bed with the ladder. This bed has definitely exceeded our expectations!
All pieces arrived undamaged. The instructions are easy enough to follow, but would be a lot easier if theyd label the hardware. We added LED lights underneath and my daughter loves it. The shelf adds a lot of storage and the raised bed opens up the room for more space to play. It seems sturdy. Im hoping it holds up well. For now Im giving it 5 stars. Ill update if things change.
Bed was very easy to assemble. I did it alone in about 2hrs. The bed is sturdy. You get what you are paying for. an inexpensive pre-fab childrens bed. A couple pieces had small dings but no big deal to me.
My brother helped me assemble so it was pretty easy. I took the advice of other reviews and bought washers, definitely recommend that!! Im glad I listened. Overall Im very happy with it and my son loves it! His room is tiny with high ceilings and now he has his own mini apartment. Lol
My daughter was begging for a bunk bed. We thought the junior loft bed was a better option and ended buying 2, one for each kid. After assembling the bed we realized my son was a bit too young for such a bed so were storing it until hes old enough. My daughter loves her new bed and she has a lot more extra play space. We were able to fit an bookcase underneath. For small homes/rooms in which extra space is vital, this is a good purchase. It took us a few hours to put together but we are very satisfied with our purchase.
Over time it can easily scratch up and dent, it wobbles a lot when you move on the bed (I weigh 115 pounds) but I like the bed. Its very pretty, the desk is huge, and it makes my room more spacious. Also there was complications with delivery (it was delayed a day) and when Im standing up under the bed I have to have my head down so I dont smack it with the bed (Im 51).

Not a great bed, its very wobbly and the screws come loose every week or two. It wasnt difficult to setup, definitely want a helper.

Buy washers!!! And keep the allen wrench, periodically I go and retighten screws.

Strong frame
Very happy with the bed frame. Smells like fresh paint. Strong frame worth the money.
