After reading negative reviews I took my chances with this bed and Im glad I did. My 8 year old wanted s loft bed and she is so happy with this one. Its sturdy and i have to say, of you screw too tight you will check the wood (i saw this complaint in this so wanted to clarify). Now to the conds. I had no instructions to go by but i was able to find assembly instructions for the twin bed on Google (my bed is full). Despite slight differences i was able to figure out the steps. The part and tool numbers matched so i was able to identify each one. I am a single mom who put this together by myself with the assistance of my 8 year old who helped me hold some parts in place while i screwed the other side etc.. i didnt have an electric screwdriver bit i managed. Overall it was s great purchase for the price.
Very sturdy, great quality wood and hardware pieces. So glad I bought this for my daughter, not super high up but with the storage space available this bed opened up a lot of space for her smaller room. Highly recommend this bed!
My son bought this to replace an old bunk-bed. This is a nice bed and with it being bunk bed style, he has all of the room to use while his bed is up high. The paint does smell for a bit so when you put it together just give it a few days to air out otherwise worth the price and not hard to put together.
Daughter loved loved her new bed. Easy to assemble but be very careful when screwing the boards together. Had a couple boards crack. Like the pre cut holes werent perfectly center so when tightening it would crack the wood.
We bought this bed when my daughters room became too crowded with toys. It was inexpensive and not nearly as nice as the solid wood twin bed we bought her a few years ago, but it got the job done and keeps her room organized! For the price, I would buy it again but some of the wood slats were of lower quality and were slightly less painted than the main pieces, which leaves a grey tint on the less-painted pieces
Great loft bed! Only thing I would suggest is that you use washers and some lock tight on the threads. And do not over tighten the bolts cause you could loosen the inserts inside the wood. Any halfway decent handyman (or woman) already knows this. As for the poor reviews, I believe this was a lot of their issues, that and the bed is intended for children and only rated for around 200 lbs. If you feel its still not stable enough for your active kiddos just brace it by adding an angle bracket to a wall.

Not strudy
Nice bed, but it is not strudy. Rigged it to the wall with 2×4s and mental straps.

Good Value, Mismatched Colors

Not as sturdy as described
My son loves the bed, however both support beams broke within 2 weeks . He only weighs 150lbs. The bed is supposed to support 500lbs
Great loft bed
