Just got it together today. Aside from stacking the beds, it can be assembled solo. That being said, a second person would make. It a lot easier. Its exactly as described. As other commenters mentioned, it is a soft wood a dents easily if you were to say drop one piece on another. ( hypothetically, of course. Well made and comfy!
