We searched for the right bunk bed for a month before landing on this one. I was worried about the kids falling out, and also the sturdiness because we have some big kids (Theyre Samoan lol).
- Assembly took 6 hours with just me, it wouldve been faster with two people.
- Definitely get an Allen Wrench attachment for your power drill. Absolute life saver!
- Read the parts and assembly instructions THOROUGHLY!! I drilled one piece in wrong and had to redo it. So double check :)
- It has been up a week now and has been sturdy. A little creak here and there which scares me but it doesnt budge.
- I would definitely keep the mattress 6 inches or smaller to fit lower than the rails.
Overall, I have absolutely loved it. Its not too high where the kids hit their head. The free shipping really sold me too. I would highly recommend!
