This is a nice fireplace and a great value for the price we paid. The flames are better than I expected at this price point. The heater is a little on the weak side and it does not have a dial to control the temperature.
The materials were nicer than I was expecting. Assembly was tedious, due to the large amount of supports to add. This likely helps the durability though. The cabinets needed some adjustments on the hinges to close properly. The unit was very stable when fully assembled; we added wood glue to the pegs though.
The fireplace insert came broken and the manufacturer was very responsive and we had a replacement in a matter of days. These things happen from time to time, so it's nice to know the vendor supports what they sell.
